"Forever in our hearts". Real have issued a statement on Varane's retirement

Following Raphael Varane's announcement to retire from professional football, Real Madrid expressed their gratitude to the player, who is already a part of the "Royal Club's" legendary history.
Quote: "Raphael Varane will forever remain in the hearts of all Real Madrid fans as one of the greatest central defenders in the team’s history and as a player who always embodied the values of our club. Real Madrid wishes him and his family the best of luck in this new chapter of life," reads the club's official statement.
Reminder: Varane joined Real Madrid in 2011 at the age of 18 and quickly became a key figure during a historic period for the club, helping win four European Cups, three of them consecutively, from 2014 to 2018.
During his ten seasons wearing the "blancos" shirt, the French defender won 18 titles in 360 appearances: 4 Champions Leagues, 4 Club World Cups, 3 European Super Cups, 3 La Liga titles, 1 Copa del Rey, and 3 Spanish Super Cups.
