Belgium’s national team is set for a major boost in March compared to its recent matches.
Details: According to Marca, legendary Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will be called up for Belgium’s upcoming UEFA Nations League playoff matches against Ukraine.
These will be Courtois’ first games for the national team since June 2023. Following that, he suffered a cruciate ligament injury and, after recovering, was not called up due to a conflict with then-head coach Domenico Tedesco.
However, earlier this year, Tedesco was dismissed, and Belgium appointed Rudi Garcia as the new head coach.
Reminder: Courtois had previously expressed his desire to return to the national team.
