On March 31st, as part of the 27th round of the German Bundesliga, Bayern hosted Borussia Dortmund at their home ground. The teams had different objectives, with Bayern still hoping to maintain the title race, while Dortmund aimed for a top-four finish, securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League next year.

The match started rather unexpectedly, as Dortmund took the lead in the 10th minute. Julian Brandt's excellent pass found Karim Adeyemi, who stormed into the hosts' penalty area and sent the ball into the corner of the net with a precise shot. Despite several good chances, Bayern couldn't find the back of the net against Alexander Meyer that evening. It's worth noting that this victory marked Dortmund's first win in Munich in seven years, and in the Bundesliga, they hadn't won there since 2014.

Bayern now trails Bayer by 13 points, and with seven rounds left in the season, only a miracle can help them become champions. Meanwhile, after defeating their arch-rivals and with Leipzig's stumble, Dortmund solidified their place in the Champions League zone, occupying fourth place.

Bayern 0-2 Borussia Dortmund
Goals: Adeyemi 10, Riererson 83.
