An extraordinary scandal has rocked Polish football! Radomiak Radom midfielder Ibrahima Camara has been banned for six months and ordered to pay a hefty fine after returning from the stadium tunnel to attack an opposing player during a chaotic Ekstraklasa encounter.

Details: The incident occurred on October 24 during Radomiak's dramatic 4-3 defeat to Pogoń Szczecin. In the closing stages, Camara was sent off after kicking opponent Alessandro Riccio. The situation escalated following a controversial VAR decision that ruled out a potential equaliser for Radomiak.

However, the red card was only the beginning. After leaving the pitch, the 27-year-old midfielder suddenly returned from the tunnel as a confrontation broke out near the touchline. He then struck Pogoń substitute Darko Churlinov on the head, triggering further chaos involving players and coaching staff.

On October 28, the Ekstraklasa disciplinary commission announced an immediate six-month suspension covering every competition organised in Poland, including the Polish Cup. Camara was also fined 50,000 zloty, approximately £10,500.

The commission described his actions as a particularly serious violation of fair play. The punishment represents a devastating blow for Radomiak, who will now be without their midfielder for much of the remaining season. The shocking attack has become one of the most controversial incidents in Polish football this year.

Reminder: Another incident in Polish football. A match between Piast Gliwice and Legia Warsaw was suspended earlier this season because of a medical emergency in the stands.
