The Spanish Segunda match between Cadiz and Almeria, scheduled for Saturday, February 7, has been officially canceled due to adverse weather conditions. The decision was made at the direction of the Andalusian regional government and is linked to safety concerns amid a new wave of storms bringing strong winds and heavy rains.
La Liga announced the fixture will be rescheduled for tomorrow, February 8. On Saturday afternoon, yellow and orange weather alerts were in effect across the province, which also led to the cancellation of the Sevilla vs Girona match. The league emphasized that the initiative did not come from the tournament organizers, but from the authorities responsible for civil protection.

Cadiz Football Club supported the decision, stating it had been informing the relevant authorities about potential risks for two days. The club stressed that, under these circumstances, the safety of the fans—many of whom would have had to travel from areas affected by the severe weather—must remain the top priority.
