Catalan side Barcelona may be on the verge of parting ways with one of their most promising midfielders in the upcoming transfer window.
Details: According to Gianluigi Longari, the Blaugrana management have entered negotiations with Monaco representatives regarding the transfer of Marc Casado.
At present, talks between the clubs are progressing in a highly positive manner. This is not about a temporary loan, but a full, permanent transfer for the 22-year-old Spanish midfielder to Ligue 1. Both sides are actively negotiating the financial details and the payment structure of the deal.
The coming days could prove decisive in finalizing the transfer fee.
It's worth noting that this season, the Spanish midfielder has featured in 34 matches across all competitions, registering just one assist—which came in a La Liga fixture against Valencia. Transfermarkt values the player at €20 million.
Reminder: Hansi Flick has been named the best coach of the 2025/26 season.
