Fodé Doucouré signs for FC Nantes

FC Nantes has officially announced the signing of Fodé Doucouré from Le Havre AC. The Malian international has signed a three-season contract with the French second-tier club to bolster the defence.
Having played for Stade de Reims, Red Star and, most recently, Le Havre, Fodé Doucouré brings with him a wealth of experience and defensive solidity. The 25-year-old Malian is no stranger to the French league, having played in both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, with a total of 162 appearances across the two divisions.
The defender came through the ranks at JMG Bamako before moving to Europe to join Reims, and then joined Red Star in 2022. Having been at Le Havre AC since 2019, Fodé Doucouré is now leaving to join FC Nantes, where he will play until June 2029.
