Floyd Mayweather purchases Manhattan property for over $20 million
Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, known for his ventures into real estate, has added another high-profile property to his portfolio. This time, he acquired a well-known building on Manhattan’s Diamond District, valued at over $20 million, reports TMZ.
The building houses a renowned diamond exchange and numerous offices, and its facade features a massive billboard capable of generating significant revenue.
"I used to shop in the diamond exchange as a young adult. I never thought I would end up owning this important property at the entrance of 47th street. Through hard work and dedication anything is possible," Mayweather shared.
Since retiring from professional boxing, Mayweather has established himself as a real estate mogul. In October, he reportedly purchased over 60 buildings in New York for a total of $402 million and, in November, acquired a stake in the iconic Versace Mansion in Miami.
Mayweather remains undefeated in his boxing career, with 50 wins, including 27 by knockout, cementing his legacy as one of the sport’s all-time greats.
