Florentino Pérez remains determined to actualize the Super League project, as reported by Defensa Central.

According to sources, Pérez is prepared to implement the project without the participation of Premier League clubs. Several teams from England have opted not to take part in the Super League, but the president of the "Los Blancos" doesn't view it as a problem and is ready to commence the competition without English clubs. Moreover, Florentino is willing to initiate the tournament without any clubs that refuse to participate in the Super League.

It's worth noting that on December 21, the European court will deliver a verdict on the case between UEFA and the Super League, which will determine the project's future.

Recall that in April 2021, 12 clubs announced the creation of the tournament: Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico, Juventus, Inter, and Milan.

Most of the clubs almost immediately withdrew from the idea due to UEFA's negative reaction. The last club to initiate the withdrawal process from the Super League was Juventus. In the event of the Turin club's departure, only Real Madrid and Barcelona will remain in the project.
