Florentino Perez ordered to start talks with Xabi Alonso

It’s only October, but Real Madrid is already preparing to start the next season with a new head coach.

Details: According to Diario Sport, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has instructed the club’s management to begin talks with Bayer Leverkusen’s head coach, Xabi Alonso.

The club maintains strong trust in Carlo Ancelotti and is grateful for everything he has done for Real Madrid, but believes that a new manager should take charge by the summer of 2025.

Alonso is considered the top priority for Real Madrid, and the Spaniard has never hidden his desire to manage Los Blancos.

Reminder: Real Madrid’s upcoming match against Valencia is likely to be postponed due to a natural disaster.
