Early presidential elections at Real Madrid are approaching, and Florentino Pérez has explained the reasoning behind his decision to call them.

Details: The presidential candidate and long-serving Real Madrid chief stated that he has noticed the emergence of anti-Madrid movements and does not want them to gain momentum.

Quote: "Why did I call the elections? I noticed anti-Madrid movements beginning to emerge in the shadows. I will not allow that to happen," Pérez said.

Pérez also revealed that Real Madrid will submit a €150 million transfer offer as early as next week. The target is a player currently competing in the UEFA Champions League.

Meanwhile, fellow presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme stated that Erling Haaland would become a Real Madrid player if he wins the election. He also added that Rodri is another top priority in his plans.

Reminder: The Portuguese manager has reportedly drawn up a list of players he believes should leave the Santiago Bernabéu, as they do not fit into his plans for the future.
