Flick sheds light on Ansu Fati's future at Barcelona

Barcelona is determined to finalize several departures before the transfer window closes on Friday. Ilkay Gündogan has already left the club, and soon he will be followed by Vitor Roque, Clément Lenglet, and Mikaël Fayad. Other departures are also expected, which will free up necessary space in the salary cap for Dani Olmo and one or two more new signings.

Football Espana reports that one of the players whose future at the club is actively discussed is Ansu Fati. The 21-year-old forward has a very high salary, and his departure could significantly ease Barcelona's financial burden.

The club's management plans to loan out Fati, but this decision is likely to be rejected by head coach Hansi Flick. The German coach has stated that he is counting on Fati this season.

"I hope he returns to the level he showed in preseason; we need to take good care of him."

Fati is currently recovering from a leg injury, and he is expected to return to the field in the coming weeks. If Flick insists, Ansu will continue to play for Barcelona.
