Flick named as La Liga's best coach in October

October is coming to an end, and La Liga has announced the winner of the league’s Manager of the Month award.

Details: Barcelona's head coach Hansi Flick has been named La Liga’s best manager for October.

Flick triumphed over Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti and Real Sociedad's Imanol Alguacil, both of whom were also in the running for the award.

In October, Barcelona won all three of their La Liga matches, capping off the month with a resounding 4-0 victory over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Reminder: Flick was also named Manager of the Month in August.

After 11 rounds, Barcelona sits atop the La Liga standings, holding a six-point lead over Real Madrid.
