Flick furious over La Liga's decision to schedule match with Osasuna on March 27. Are there chances for a successful appeal?
Yesterday, La Liga officially set March 27 as the new date for the rescheduled 26th round match between Barcelona and Osasuna. The Catalan club has reacted extremely negatively to this decision.
Details: According to Diario Sport, Barcelona's head coach Hansi Flick was furious upon learning that the match would take place immediately after the international break, when some players have not even returned to the club yet.
However, the chances of Barcelona's appeal being successful are very slim. Before the announcement of the new match date, the Catalans presented the same arguments, but they were not taken into account.
Barcelona has already resigned to the fact that they will have to play this game without Ronald Araújo and Raphinha. The only option is to persuade their national teams to release the players early. But such a scenario is unlikely.
Reminder: Osasuna also decided to file an appeal against the new match date.
