Flick becomes second Barcelona coach to reach 100 goals in record time
Under Hans-Dieter Flick, Barcelona has nearly broken a long-standing club record that has stood for 66 years.
Details: The German coach has become the second-fastest manager in Barcelona’s history to reach the milestone of 100 goals during his tenure. Flick’s Barcelona achieved this in just 32 matches, one game slower than Helenio Herrera’s 1959 team, which managed the feat in 31 matches.
Flick surpassed notable names such as Luis Enrique and Tito Vilanova (34 matches) as well as Pep Guardiola and Gerardo Martino (37 matches).
Reminder: Barcelona scored their 100th goal under Flick in a 7-1 victory against Valencia last Sunday. Barça scored 58 goals in La Liga, 26 in the Champions League, 9 came in Spanish Cup matches and another 7 in the Super Cup.
