Flick is closing in on repeating his coaching record with Barcelona

Barcelona faced Getafe in the seventh round of La Liga and secured a narrow 1-0 victory, bringing Julian Flick closer to one of the club's coaching records.

Details: For the German manager, this marks his seventh consecutive win in La Liga, making him only the third coach to achieve this feat in the league's history. He joins Ernesto Valverde, who also won his first seven matches, with the only record ahead of them held by Gerardo Martino, who won his opening eight games in 2013.

In the upcoming round, Flick has the opportunity to replicate this achievement. On Saturday, September 28, Barcelona will play away against Osasuna, with kickoff scheduled for 21:00 Central European Time.

Currently, the Catalans sit atop La Liga with 21 points, holding a four-point lead over second place.

Reminder: Barcelona's head coach, Hansi Flick, recently expressed the need to reduce the number of matches for players.
