Flamingos Crush Guinea 6-0 to Seal 11-0 Aggregate Win in U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier
Nigeria continued their strong qualifying campaign with a ruthless 6-0 victory over Guinea in the second leg of their 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
The Flamingos had already done the damage in the first leg with a 5-0 win in Conakry, and they finished the job in style to seal an 11-0 aggregate success and progress comfortably into the next round.
The home side made their intentions clear early, with Oluwakemi Adegbuyi breaking the deadlock inside the opening 10 minutes.
Harmony Chidi then took charge of proceedings, adding two goals of her own, while Queen Joseph also got on the scoresheet as Nigeria raced into a commanding lead.
Adegbuyi returned to the spotlight with a second goal before Chidi completed her brace shortly after, further underlining Nigeria’s superiority in the tie.
In the second half, Precious Oscar added the finishing touch to cap off a convincing all-round performance.
With qualification secured in dominant fashion, the Flamingos now turn their attention to the next round of the race for a place at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
