Five Manchester United players inform the club of their desire to leave

The summer transfer window at Manchester United is shaping up to be an active one, as the club seeks to refresh its squad. That requires cash, and five players could help generate the necessary funds.
Details: Fabrizio Romano has revealed the names of those who have told the club they want to leave—and there are no real surprises. The list includes Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, and Jadon Sancho. The only somewhat unexpected name is Tyrell Malacia, but after a serious injury, the Dutchman has struggled to regain his form.
All five players have been granted permission by the club to report to preseason later, giving them time to resolve matters related to finding a new team. Even so, they would have trained at Carrington, as reports suggest Ruben Amorim had no intention of taking any of them, except Malacia, on the preseason tour.
Reminder: Rashford is one of two targets Barcelona plans to revisit after Nico Williams extended his contract with Athletic Bilbao.
