Fiston Mayele Wanted by Al-Fateh as Pyramids Demand $3M Deal

Congolese striker Fiston Mayele, currently leading the line for Pyramids FC, has received a formal offer from Saudi club Al-Fateh, according to a source within the Egyptian club.
Valuation Sparks Negotiation
The source confirmed that Pyramids are open to selling the player, but only for $3 million—a fee deemed too high by Al-Fateh’s board. Despite that, negotiations are underway to reduce the asking price, especially with head coach Slaven Bilić (correct if different) keen to sign Mayele.
Contract Situation & Player’s Desire
Mayele still has one year left on his deal with Pyramids after the club activated an extension clause. However, the 30-year-old is understood to be eager for a new challenge, which has opened the door for potential exit talks.
Pyramids are now considering the offer seriously, knowing the striker is unlikely to renew beyond next season.
