Fiston Mayele Shines as Pyramids FC Edge Closer to CAF Champions League Semifinals

With a remarkable performance in the CAF Champions League quarterfinals, Fiston Mayele keeps making history with Pyramids FC.

With a brace to put the Egyptian team in a commanding lead going into the second leg, the Congolese attacker was instrumental in his team's 4-1 victory over AS FAR Rabat.

Chasing the Golden Boot

Mayele's impressive tally of six goals in the competition places him second in the CAF Champions League top scorers' list, level with teammate Ibrahim Adel and just one goal behind Youcef Belaili of Espérance de Tunis.

Demonstrating His Value

Mayele has more than lived up to his price tag after moving from Young Africans (Tanzania) to Pyramids FC in 2023 for €733,000. The striker has demonstrated his offensive ability with 34 goals and 7 assists in just 71 games across all competitions.

Mayele will be keen to increase his total and guide Pyramids FC into the semifinals with the second leg against AS FAR yet to come.
