Liverpool’s French striker Hugo Ekitike has etched his name into the annals of English football statistics. The forward has become the first French player to score at least 11 goals in his debut Premier League season since Alexandre Lacazette achieved the feat in the 2017/2018 campaign.
This milestone highlights just how quickly Ekitike has adapted to the demanding environment of English football.
