First signing in: Orlando Pirates land Baroka defender Tshepho Mashiloane

Orlando Pirates have reached an agreement to sign Baroka defender Tshepho Mashiloane. The 23-year-old is expected to officially join the squad on July 1.
"We will still pay Mashiloane his salary until the end of June because he remains our player for now. From July 1, he will belong to Orlando Pirates. If the Pirates want him to join earlier, that's possible — we have an arrangement with them," Baroka chairman Khurishi Mphahlele told iDiski Times.
It's worth noting that Mashiloane is not the only reinforcement the Pirates are eyeing this transfer window. After a quiet January with no signings, the club's management is determined to revamp the squad this summer.
Recall that among the potential newcomers, Cape Town City midfielder Jayden Rhodes has resurfaced on the radar. Despite a less-than-stellar season, the 22-year-old remains a top target for Orlando.
