Fiorentina are ready to follow in Roma's footsteps and bring in one of the team's legends as coach

The example of Daniele De Rossi, who at this stage has been quite successful in his role as Roma's head coach, has inspired other Serie A clubs to follow a similar path.

So, in the summer, Fiorentina will say goodbye to Vincenzo Italiano, and the Violets are thinking about who should replace him. The club formed a shortlist of three specialists, and the names of those who got there were announced by Calciomercato.

It is noteworthy that apart from current Torino head coach Ivan Juric, Fiorentina are considering two of their former players: Alberto Gilardino, who is now in charge of Genoa and Alberto Aquilani. The latter is now working in Serie B, being in charge of Pisa.

It should be recalled that earlier the Violets also considered De Rossi, whose contract with Roma expires in the summer, but the specialist himself intends to first decide his future with the Romans.
