French side Marseille stands on the brink of a colossal disaster that could shatter the club’s future.

Details: According to renowned and reputable insiders Mohamed Terras and Romain Molina, Marseille’s management is seriously fearing the worst-case scenario. If the Provençal club fails to organize a massive player sale in the near future, the giant faces the threat of forced relegation and a drop to Ligue 2.

At the heart of this escalating crisis is former president Pablo Longoria, whose management decisions have left the club in a vulnerable position. Reports indicate that by June 30, 2027, Marseille is obligated to raise at least €150 million from player sales on the transfer market. Faced with such a critical situation, the management has effectively put a price tag on every player in the current squad.

If Marseille fails to resolve its budget issues, the team could face severe penalties from UEFA, up to and including a ban from European competitions.
