Filip Kostić ready to extend contract with Juventus – decision up to the club
Serbian winger Filip Kostić is eager to continue his career at Juventus.
Details: According to Italian insider Nicolò Schira, Kostić is hoping for a contract extension with Juventus until 2028. The player is also open to a deal running until 2027, with an option for another season.
The final decision regarding the 33-year-old's future rests with the Turin club, which has yet to finalize its strategy for the upcoming year.
Kostić joined Juventus from German side Eintracht in 2022 and now he became a key figure for the Bianconeri. However, the club is weighing both financial and sporting factors before approving a new deal. During his time in Turin, Kostić had a loan spell at Turkish outfit Fenerbahçe, but he is now a regular starter under Luciano Spalletti.
This season, Kostić has featured in nine matches for Juventus, recording two goals and one assist. Transfermarkt currently values him at just €3.5 million.
Reminder: Arsenal are in talks with Juventus over midfielder Kenan Yildiz.
