Tonight, at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, UFC 305 will take place.

The main event of the evening will feature a battle for the middleweight championship, where the reigning champion, South African Dricus Du Plessis, will face off against former titleholder Israel Adesanya from New Zealand.

For Du Plessis, this will be his second fight of the year. Earlier, at UFC 297, he fought Sean Strickland, winning by decision. Adesanya, after avenging his loss to Alex Pereira at UFC 287 last April, was defeated by the same Strickland at UFC 293 in September.

The co-main event will see two New Zealanders, Kai Kara-France and Steve Erceg, competing for a shot at the flyweight title.
