FIFA Surprises Al Ahly with Kickoff Time for First Match Against Inter Miami

FIFA has announced the surprising kickoff time for Al Ahly’s first match in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where the Egyptian club will face Inter Miami on June 14.
Held in the United States, the inaugural 2025 tournament will feature 32 teams from around the world. Al Ahly is placed in Group A alongside Palmeiras, Porto, and the hosts, Inter Miami, which features Lionel Messi.
Al Ahly’s opening match will take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami at 8 PM local time, which means a 4 AM kickoff in Cairo on June 15, catering to both the players’ comfort and TV broadcasting needs.
In their second match, Al Ahly will meet Palmeiras on June 19 at 12 PM local time (8 PM Cairo). The third and final group match against Porto is scheduled for June 23 at 9 PM local time (5 AM Cairo on June 24).
