FIFA Matchday : Friendly matches, Zambia's squad list has been announced

Zambia national team coach Moses Sichone has revealed a provisional squad of 41 players. This announcement comes ahead of the two consecutive friendly matches against South Africa and Burundi during the FIFA international window.

Sichone has called up several notable players from the domestic league, including Eliya Mandanji of Zanaco, Solomon Mpasela of FC Muza, Yoram Chanda of Kabwe Warriors, and Mutondo Stars

Composed of seasoned players and newcomers, the squad will be further reduced after a three-day period before departing for South Africa. Zambia will face South Africa on Saturday in Port Elizabeth at Nelson Mandela Stadium before traveling to Bujumbura to play Burundi on November 18.

These friendly matches are part of the Chipolopolo's preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Morocco. Zambia is in Group A, alongside Morocco, Mali, and Comoros. These matches will allow the team to be tested and adjustments made before the official tournament.
