Fernando Alonso shares emotional photos with fans from the F1 fan zone in Barcelona

Formula 1 star Fernando Alonso spent time with his devoted supporters in the Fan Zone at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. The Spanish driver shared a set of heartfelt photos on his Instagram page.

Alonso posted a series of shots showing him greeting fans, posing for pictures, and signing autographs. Fernando captioned the photos, “Home race. 💚 The unmistakable spirit of Spanish fans.”

It’s clear that the Aston Martin driver was deeply moved by the warm reception from his home crowd and is eagerly looking forward to hitting the track at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya during the race. As a reminder, the Grand Prix is set to take place this Sunday.

It’s also worth noting that Fernando Alonso was recently officially named an ambassador for the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, adding even more significance to the occasion.

So far this season, the Spanish racer has yet to score a single point, and in the previous race in Monaco, he was forced to retire due to car issues. The current leader of the Formula 1 standings is Oscar Piastri from McLaren.
