Fernando Alonso greets Saudi Arabia ahead of Grand Prix round
Formula 1 star Fernando Alonso has arrived in Saudi Arabia to participate in the next Grand Prix round. The Spaniard greeted fans in his Instagram post.
The racing driver shared several of his photos, captioned with the words “Hello @saudiarabiangp. Let’s have a good weekend.”
It should be noted that the Aston Martin driver has not scored any points this season and is at the bottom of the standings. The current leader of the Formula 1 season is McLaren's Lando Norris.
Let's recall that the Jeddah, Saudi Arabia round is one of the youngest: races on this track have been held since 2021. Three different drivers have won this Grand Prix — Lewis Hamilton, who won the debut Grand Prix in 2021, Sergio Perez, the winner in 2023, and Max Verstappen, who claimed victory twice, in 2022 and 2024.
Additionally, Fernando Alonso has been a two-time Formula 1 champion — he won in 2005 and 2006 when he was driving for the French team Renault, now known as Alpine.
