Fenerbahçe Set to File Complaint Over Victor Osimhen Protective Mask Ahead of Galatasaray Clash
Fenerbahçe are preparing to take formal action ahead of Sunday’s high-stakes derby against Galatasaray, with plans to submit an official report to the Turkish Football Federation.
According to reports from HT Spor, the club intends to raise concerns about Victor Osimhen and the protective gear he has been using in recent matches.
Osimhen has been wearing a specially designed protective bandage on his right forearm after suffering a fracture during a UEFA Champions League fixture against Liverpool on March 18. While the gear is meant to aid his recovery, Fenerbahçe believe it may pose a risk on the pitch.
The club is concerned that the protective support is too rigid and could potentially cause injury to opponents in the event of contact. Their medical team is currently compiling detailed reports and supporting evidence to strengthen their case before submitting it to the federation.
