Fenerbahce are preparing to meet Atalanta this month to discuss a possible transfer for Super Eagles attacker Ademola Lookman, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 28-year-old has been linked with an exit from Bergamo after three strong seasons, but Atalanta blocked his summer move despite interest from Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, and Tottenham.

Lookman has started this campaign slowly, scoring three goals and providing two assists in 19 appearances. With his contract expiring at the end of next season, Atalanta may be forced to sell soon.

Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have both been heavily linked with him. Fabrizio Romano says Fenerbahce want to take control of the race and have already contacted Atalanta to set up talks.

Transfermarkt values Lookman at around €35 million, and Atalanta are unlikely to accept a loan deal.
