Portuguese forward João Félix joined AC Milan during the winter transfer window, and his debut for the new club turned out to be spectacular.
Details: The Portuguese striker stepped onto the pitch in the 59th minute against Roma in the Coppa Italia. This marked his first appearance for Milan, and just 13 minutes later, he found the back of the net. Notably, the goal came from an assist by Alejandro Jiménez, another winter signing for the Rossoneri.
We previously reported that Milan will cover Félix's full salary, with the total deal exceeding £5 million, including the loan fee. The player is currently in Italy, preparing for his medical examination.
This season, Félix has played just 12 Premier League matches for Chelsea, scoring once and providing one assist.
Reminder: Aston Villa had also shown interest in Félix earlier but opted to sign Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United yesterday.
