Felix has convinced his compatriot to move to Barcelona

Barcelona's striker Joao Felix has stated that he managed to persuade his compatriot, Bernardo Silva, to join the Catalan club.

"I think I've convinced Bernardo Silva to join Barça, that's all true! But it doesn’t depend on him right now. He asked me about places to live, places to eat, safety... everything! If he comes, Barça will be delighted with Bernardo", Felix said on Catalunya Radio.

It was previously reported that Bernardo Silva wants to leave Manchester City due to the bad weather in the United Kingdom. His contract includes a 50 million euro release clause.

Recall that Felix plays for Barcelona on loan from Atletico Madrid. However, the Spanish champions are interested in keeping him for the next season.

Bernardo Silva has been playing for Manchester City since the summer of 2017, when he moved from Monaco for 50 million euros.
