Since joining the club last December, the Portuguese coach has moved closer to his first Betway Premiership title, while also securing a place in the CAF Champions League final to face Pyramids FC.
With the Betway Premiership title on the line and a place in the final of the Champions League, the Portuguese coach spoke about his situation with the team: "It's important people recognise what we've done and what we've been doing in this league, We took the team to a high level. The team isn't only playing fantastically but beating records" Cardoso said after his team's 3-0 thumping of Stellenbosch FC at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday.
Cardoso added: Let's give credit to those who deserve it because when I arrived there was suspicion [Cardoso might fail], and now please just respect the work we've been doing.
