The governing body aims to revolutionise Cameroonian football.
The Cameroonian Football Federation is taking a new step in its vision to modernise local football. It has announced a reform with which top-flight clubs must comply from the 2026–2027 season.
From next season, every club must field at least one team in a youth league to be eligible for a national licence. The reform will be implemented gradually. For the 2026–2027 season, only Elite One clubs will be affected. It will then be extended to Elite Two clubs from the 2027–2028 season.
Through this measure, Fecafoot aims to strengthen youth development in the country.
