FECAFOOT Election: Samuel Eto’o Announces FIFA and CAF Representatives Will Attend

The Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) announced on Tuesday the participation of FIFA and CAF representatives in its elective General Assembly scheduled for November 29, 2025, in Mbamkomo.

According to a press release published on Tuesday, November 18, the Cameroonian Football Federation held a videoconference with FIFA, CAF, and the Electoral Commission in charge of the election. Following this meeting, it was decided that representatives from the two international bodies, as well as members of the FIFA Council, will attend the elective General Assembly.

This decision aims to guarantee the smooth running of the election of the president and members of the FECAFOOT Executive Committee. The Cameroonian sports institution claims to see this support as a guarantee of credibility and serenity for an electoral process that is often highly anticipated and scrutinized.
