Fawaaz Basadien on the importance of getting Samkelo Kabini involved in Bafana Bafana

The Bafana Bafana players, including Stellenbosch FC star Fawaaz Basadien, seem to have realized the importance of professional players participating with the national team in the upcoming competitions and in all tournaments.

Fawaaz Basadie spoke about the importance of including Samkelo Kabini in the national team in the upcoming competitions, Kabini who joined Norwegian Molde FK last March after spending two seasons in the Betway Premiership with TS Galaxy.

He was an important player before moving to the Norwegian league where he scored three goals and provided four assists.

He is now part of the Bafana team that will face Tanzania and Mozambique in the future.

What Basadien had to say about his teammate!

Basadien stated that his teammate has a lot of quality and will be an influential player for Bafana Bafana in the upcoming competitions.

I think this is the first time I’m playing with Kabini. For me, he is a good person. He is not very loud; he is very quiet and to himself, but obviously a good player with good qualities. followed him when he was still at TS Galaxy, so I know more about his style of play and what his strengths and weaknesses are.

Basadien said.

But for me, I think it is also important to learn from him as well. There are things that he is good at that I’m not good at. So, this whole camp with new players coming in is an opportunity to learn from other players where you are lacking and also try to help those players. I think it is a big opportunity to play with Kabini and maybe try to learn from him.

Basadien concluded.
