FAR Rabat has officially lodged a complaint against Wydad Casablanca’s coach, Rulani Mokwena, due to his controversial behavior during the post-match press conference after their league game.

Unsportsmanlike conduct during the game included Wydad players and personnel being stoned by FAR Rabat supporters. In response, Mokwena brought some of the stones to the press conference, which caused widespread anger.

In an official statement, FAR Rabat’s spokesperson said: “The club has filed a formal complaint with the Ethics Committee of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation regarding the unsportsmanlike conduct of Wydad’s coach during the press conference.”

The statement added: "Mokwena’s actions damaged the reputation of Moroccan football by intentionally displaying the stones at the conference, ignoring media rules, and presenting a negative image of sportsmanship in Morocco."

The football world is currently awaiting the Ethics Committee's ruling about this contentious episode.
