In the battle against Gujarat, Kohli delivered a brilliant knock, amassing 81 runs and taking the lead as the player with the most fours in league history. Kohli now boasts 803 precise hits to the boundary. His nearest challenger in this category remains Shikhar Dhawan with 768, followed by David Warner (663), Rohit Sharma (653), and Ajinkya Rahane (522).
Additionally, Kohli has become just the third player in league history to surpass the mark of 300 sixes, joining the elite company of legends like Chris Gayle (357) and Rohit Sharma (310).
It’s also worth noting that Virat Kohli is the only player in IPL history to have played for a single franchise (RCB) throughout all 19 years of the tournament’s existence, making his achievements even more remarkable.
