Fantastic! Lukas Podolski becomes owner of a European club

The 40-year-old forward has taken over as club president.

Details: Today, the official page of the Polish club Górnik Zabrze announced that the team's legendary 40-year-old forward, Lukas Podolski, has officially become the new owner of the club.

Podolski joined Górnik Zabrze in 2021 as a free agent and over the years has become a true legend of the team, playing 134 matches in which he scored 25 goals and provided 22 assists.

Currently, Podolski has a contract with Górnik that expires at the end of the season, and it is still unknown whether the forward will retire or continue as a player-owner of the club.

At the moment, Górnik Zabrze is in 2nd place in the Polish Ekstraklasa and has every chance to play in the Champions League next season.
