"Fans can relax": Pedri on his new contract with Barcelona

Barcelona midfielder Pedri has shared an update on the progress of negotiations for a new contract with the Blaugrana.

Quote. “My agents and Barcelona have told me that the negotiations for a new contract are going well, everything is on track. Fans can stay calm and relax,” the midfielder's words were relayed by Fabrizio Romano.

Earlier reports suggested that Barcelona’s top priority is to reach an agreement with Pedri on a contract extension. The club aims to secure a new deal with the midfielder until 2030 this month.

Reminder. Pedri’s current contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2026. So far this season, the Spanish international has registered four goals and three assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.
