Family time: Wayne Rooney enjoys a day at the amusement park with wife and kids

Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney took advantage of some downtime to spend quality moments with his family—heading to a theme park with his wife and two sons. The outing was documented on Instagram by Wayne's wife, Coleen, who shared a series of photos from their adventure.

Coleen posted snapshots of the family riding attractions together, highlighting the fun they had as a group. She also added a heartfelt caption to go along with the memories.

"Alton towers is always a great half term trip!! We had a fantastic time as always … thanks for looking after us @altontowers," wrote Coleen Rooney.

The family outing included their two younger sons—9-year-old Kit and 7-year-old Cass—joining their parents for the fun-filled day. The Rooneys also have two older sons: 15-year-old Kai and 12-year-old Klay.

As a reminder, Rooney previously managed Plymouth Argyle, taking the helm in May 2024. However, after just seven months and a string of disappointing results, he parted ways with the club in December. Under Rooney, Plymouth sat at the bottom of the Championship and, following his departure, were ultimately relegated to League One.
