Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney is making the most of his time away from football by spending quality time with his family. The former England striker was spotted at Disneyland Paris alongside his wife Coleen and their two youngest sons, The Sun reports.
The couple decided to treat 8-year-old Kit and 6-year-old Cass to a magical day at the famous theme park in France’s capital. Given the chilly winter weather, the family bundled up in warm coats, with Wayne even wrapping himself in a scarf, possibly to stay warm and avoid attention from paparazzi and fans.
Coleen is said to be delighted that Rooney is now spending more time at home, helping raise their children. He has even started taking the kids to school, allowing his wife more time to focus on her own activities.
Rooney was sacked as Plymouth Argyle manager in December, following a disastrous run of results that left the club at the bottom of the Championship table. Ironically, after his departure, Plymouth pulled off a huge FA Cup upset by knocking out Liverpool with a 1-0 victory.
