The legendary Radamel Falcao has officially returned to his homeland, where he will play for Millonarios.
The 16-time champions of Colombia posted a beautiful video on their X page, showcasing archival footage of Radamel Falcao during his time in the Millonarios academy.
Falcao's contract with Millonarios is valid until the end of the current year, with an option for automatic extension for another season.
Interestingly, Falcao has never played in Colombia's top division before. Prior to moving to Europe, he played for Argentina's River Plate, having transferred there at a young age from Lanceros Boyacá, which was then in the second division.
Falcao's most recent club was Spain's Rayo Vallecano. Last season, he mostly came off the bench and scored four goals in 26 appearances across all competitions.
The 38-year-old Falcao is well-known in Europe for his stints with Atlético Madrid, Porto, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Monaco.
