There is a worrying trend in the Algerian league where players are being shouted at during play by people pretending to be photographers. To disrupt the play of players and goalkeepers, these “fake photographers” usually stand near the goal and shout sarcasm.

The most recent player to be targeted was Islam Slimani, Algeria's best goal scorer, who was verbally attacked by one of these fake photographers during a match between CR Belouizdad and MC Alger.

Defender Chouhaib Keddad spoke out against these fake photographers, asking them to stop and focus on the real problem—the abuse and attacks on players. This problem got more attention during a recent CAF Champions League game between MC Alger and US Monastir, where similar things happened.

Now, the Algerian Football Federation and clubs are being asked to solve this issue to stop any more disruptions in both local and international matches.
