Fabregas reacted to rumors of Como's interest in Francesco Totti

Como’s head coach, Cesc Fabregas, addressed recent rumors on DAZN’s podcast regarding Serie A newcomer Como’s potential interest in signing the legendary Francesco Totti.

Details: Fabregas made it clear that the club has never pursued the Roma icon.

Quote: “Francesco Totti is a football legend, but we’ve never shown interest in signing him. I called Pedro at the end of August, but not Totti,” Fabregas stated.

Background: Recently, reports surfaced that Totti believes he could still compete in Serie A. He stated that he would need at least two months of training, emphasizing that he’s serious about the possibility.

Totti retired in 2017, having spent his entire playing career with Roma. After retiring, he briefly served as a director for the club but left after two years. The former forward won the 2006 World Cup with Italy and claimed the 2000-01 Serie A title with Roma.
