Fabregas agrees to contract extension with Como

Como appears to have finally fended off advances from rival clubs for their head coach, Cesc Fabregas. Both parties are set to extend their collaboration.

Details: According to Tuttomercatoweb, Como is rewarding Fabregas's loyalty by pledging significant support in the transfer market—a process that has already begun in January with several talented additions to the squad.

Recall: Earlier, Fabregas turned down offers from Italian giants such as Roma and Milan, as well as Bayer Leverkusen, all of whom showed interest in the Spanish coach following his impressive results for a newcomer.

Last season, Como earned 49 points and finished tenth in the Serie A table. This achievement has inspired the club's management, who, according to media reports, are prepared to allocate an incredible €80–100 million for summer transfers.
