Extended absence: Mason Mount's recovery timeline revealed
Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount sustained a significant injury during the match against Manchester City, and it has now been confirmed how long he will be sidelined.
Details: According to the UTD Menace page on X (formerly Twitter), Mount suffered a hamstring injury caused by overstretching his leg, resulting in tendon damage. The English midfielder is expected to miss around ten weeks, although the exact recovery time will depend on his rehabilitation process.
Notably, both Mason Mount and Noussair Mazraoui missed United’s recent match, where the Red Devils suffered a heavy 0-3 defeat to Bournemouth.
Reminder: Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has not been receiving much playing time under the new manager and has stated he is considering leaving the club. He added that he is open to a new challenge.
Head coach Ruben Amorim addressed Rashford's comments, noting that he has yet to speak with the player but confirmed that Rashford is ready for the game against Tottenham.
