Ex-Orlando Pirates player warns club against delaying Mofokeng's move to Europe

Orlando Pirates talisman Relebohile Mofokeng has long been linked with a move to Europe, but the club is in no hurry to part ways with their young star. However, former Pirates defender Benson Mhlongo believes the club shouldn't drag its feet when it comes to selling him.
Details: As his main argument, the ex-Orlando Pirates defender pointed out that South Africa is full of distractions that could hinder Mofokeng's development—distractions that simply don't exist in Europe. He also noted that Mofokeng has already given plenty to the club and deserves a shot at a new challenge.
Quote: "Playing abroad is always a plus. In South Africa, players are held back by negative influences, 'slay queens', and a lack of mental support. Overseas, Mofokeng can grow much faster.
If Pirates don't have a psychologist, it's better to let him go. He's already proven himself—let him develop, come back stronger, and help the national team. We need to think about the future of our national squad," Mhlongo stated.
